Testimonial question picker
A hand-curated bank of 95 testimonial questions — filter by what you sell and by the kind of answer you need, tick the ones that fit, and walk away with your list. No AI writing questions at you; every one was worth keeping.
- What it costs
- Nothing. No account, no email, no watermark, no limit on how often you use it.
- Where your text goes
- Nowhere. The whole tool runs in your browser — nothing you type is sent, stored, or seen by us. The page-view measurement this site carries counts the visit, never the text.

No question fits that combination — loosen one of the filters.
01 How to build a list that gets answered
Three to five questions is plenty. A longer list doesn’t get you more testimonial — it gets you fewer finished answers. A shape that works: open with one easy question anyone can answer warm (“who are you, what do you do”), dig with two or three from the angle you actually need — a result, a killed objection, a comparison — and close with one that hands them the words they’d use to a friend. The filters above are those angles; the full guide to testimonial questions is the long-form reasoning behind them, with examples of the answers each shape produces.
02 Curated, not generated
Every ranking “question generator” wants your website URL so an AI can guess at your customers. This page goes the other way: a fixed bank, written and pruned by hand, filtered by you — because you know what you sell and what doubt kills your deals, and no generator does. It also means the page needs no server at all: nothing you tick or type leaves your browser, which is a promise an AI tool cannot make.
Reword freely. The two properties worth keeping as you edit: one ask per question, and no question answerable with “yes”.
03 What to do with your list
The list’s natural home is a form — questions asked one at a time, answered in the customer’s own words, kept with their permission attached. That is precisely what a Testymo form is: paste your picked questions in, share one link, approve what comes back. If you’d rather ask by email, the request-email templates pair with this list — and how to ask for a testimonial covers the timing that makes any channel work.
04 Questions this page gets
- How many questions should I actually send?
- Three to five. Send ten and you’ll get either silence or one-line answers to all ten. Pick one per angle you care about and stop.
- What does “video-friendly” mean?
- Questions that work spoken to a camera: answerable without notes, naturally first-person, and phrased so the answer stands alone as a clip. Every question here works in writing; the marked ones also work out loud.
- Can I use these questions anywhere?
- Yes — they’re yours to copy, reword and send however you like. No attribution, no account, no strings.
